Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Jan. 4, 2026:

  • Westport Fuel Systems announced changes to its board of directors. Previous chair Dan Hancock retired effective Dec. 31, and director Tony Guglielmin assuming the role of chair. Brad Kotush also was added to the board.
  • MEMA formally installed Paul McCarthy as president and CEO after the retirement of previous leader Bill Long on Dec. 31. MEMA also announced changes to its board of directors.
  • Volvo Trucks North America has named Christopher Roberts as vice president - Southeast, effective Jan. 12.
  • The ASE Education Foundation has announced its new officers and board members for 2026.
  • Jeff Paul has been appointed executive vice president at the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies.
