Who's in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Sept. 7, 2026:

Fullbay has hired Paul Malone as its new president and CRO.
Phil Treier has been named COO at High Bar Brands.
Genuine Parts Company (GPC) announced leadership for its automotive and industrial businesses as it prepares to split. The industrial business will be renamed Motion with Will Stengel, current chairman and CEO at GPC, as chairman and CEO. James Howe will be president and COO at Motion and Howard Yu will be executive vice president and CFO.

Leaf springs are among the items listed on Canada's new list of tariffs that took effect Tuesday.
