The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS) will hold its next technician training clinic at Meritor’s Training Facility in Troy, Mich., on Sept. 29, 2016.
ACOFAS says the clinic will focus on basis air brakes, automatic slack adjustors, reduced stopping distance brakes, electronic stability control, Meritor’s OnGuard Collision Safety systems, and lane departure warning systems.
The course will be presented by Meritor’s Rick Martin.
In addition, ACOFAS says it also plans to hold an educational program regarding diesel emissions systems and fuel systems in December. The course will concentrate on how service providers can avoid damaging these delicate systems when providing frame, alignment and other service, ACOFAS says. Dates for the course are yet to be announced.
