Karmak recently hosted a one-day Parts Road Show for users at Automann’s new Hiram, Ga., facility.
Karmak says the full day event brought together customers and Karmak Alliance Partners to highlight the newest features available in Karmak’s Fusion business system and focus on overall best practices around pricing, inventory control and purchasing. It also included a tour of Automann’s newest warehouse operation located just east of Atlanta.
Spanning more than 360,000 sq.-ft., and housing 50,000-plus products, this new Class-A facility strengthens Automann’s ability to serve heavy-duty truck parts distributors throughout the Southeast with one or two-day service.

Karmak says its road show concept is designed to deliver hands-on insights and practical strategies to improve day to day operations. Attendees at the recent event came from across the southeast for expert-led collaborative sessions designed to help them better leverage their existing tools and focused on improving efficiency and outcomes.
Fusion highlights included the new interbranch receiving feature that’s been added to Parts Scan and the new parts purchase order import capability. The event was supported by three Karmak Alliance Partners – MOTOR FleetCross, EliteExtra and Syncron, who shared their expertise and perspective on optimizing parts operations in an ever-evolving market.
“Fusion is constantly growing and evolving. This road show event gave us practical ways to improve key areas of our parts operations — helping us run more efficiently and deliver better results for our customers,” says Marcus Hogue, parts director for Shealy’s Truck Centers, who made the four hour drive from Columbia, S.C., to the event.
Karmak adds it continues to invest in educational initiatives like the Parts Road Show to support its customers’ success and strengthen partnerships across the industry.
