Phinia published its 2026-2027 Worldwide Heavy-Duty and Off-Road Emission Standards booklet, the company announced Monday.
It provides OEMs, engineers, policymakers and others with a practical reference to help navigate emissions requirements across global markets. The booklet is updated every two years.

"Emissions regulation is becoming a broader engineering challenge, with manufacturers needing to understand not only requirements for traditional pollutants, but also greenhouse gases, testing, diagnostics and monitoring across different markets," says Todd Anderson, CTO at Phinia. "With dynamic and evolving fuel supply, this booklet also shares information regarding market reference fuels."
This edition lists standards addressing conventional pollutants but also zero-emissions vehicles and greenhouse gas emissions, helping users understand the wider regulatory landscape affecting vehicle and engine development.

It also brings together emissions limit values, standard test cycles and testing conditions, along with references to relevant fuel standards and an overview of on-board diagnostics and emissions monitoring.
"The purpose of this booklet is practical: to bring that information together in a clear reference that engineers and decision-makers can use as they plan for current and future requirements," Anderson says. "The increasing relevance of zero-emission and greenhouse gas standards makes that broader view even more important and reflects the same engineering discipline we apply as we support cleaner, more efficient combustion and the development of lower- and zero-carbon fuel technologies."
The booklet was first released in 1993 by Phinia's Delphi brand.
