Mack Trucks announced Wednesday it's added 12 more certified electric vehicle (EV) locations in North America, bringing the total number of EV-certified dealers to 65. Those dealers are spread across 29 states and four Canadian provinces.

"The continued expansion of our certified EV dealership network demonstrates our commitment, and our dealers' commitment, to a sustainable future," says Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. "Together with our Mack dealers, we help make this possible by offering customers support from the purchase of the vehicle, seeking of incentives, infrastructure readiness and training to help them better acclimate to the new technology and to further the adoption of EVs."

Certification allows dealerships to provide comprehensive sales and service support for the Mack EV lineup, including the LR Electric Class 8 refuse truck and the Mack MD Electric medium-duty truck. The process requires dealer investment in infrastructure and expertise, including comprehensive training programs, facilities upgrades and specialized safety protocols.

- Kriete Truck Center Sheboygan, Sheboygan, Wis.

- Bruckner Truck Sales Inc., Dallas.
- TEC Equipment, San Diego.
- Tri-State Truck & Equipment Inc., Billings, Mont.
- Vision Truck Group locations in Brantford, Etobicoke and Stoney Creek, Ontario.
- Volvo Lac St-Jean, Saint-Prime, Quebec.
