Quantron AG debuted a hydrogen-electric Class 8 truck for the European market.
The QHM FCEV Aero for the European market has a maximum range of up to 434 miles with a standard trailer, the company says. It said the truck's hydrogen tank is integrated into the frame's structure and complies with all legal requirements. Standard trailers can be used without restrictions, Quantron says, and it claims to be the only truck without those constraints on usability.
An extended-range version of the truck made for the Norwegian market can hit 900 miles in range.
The company's first hydrogen-electric truck for the U.S. market will debut at the ACT Expo on May 2.
