DENSO named the winners of its North American Business Partner of the Year Awards for 2022 at its North America Business Partner Convention in Detroit.
"This past year has been defined by an urgent need to adapt and evolve for emerging mobility trends, from electrification to connectivity and much more," says Mike Winkler, vice president of the North American Purchasing Group at DENSO. "All of our partners, but especially these award recipients, have been crucial in helping us navigate such changes and deliver for our customers -- quickly, sustainably and with enhanced value."
The winners are:
Micron won Supplier of the Year.
Quality Leader Awards went to Essex Furukawa, Matsuo Industries USA, Adkev, Vishay Intertechnology and Audubon Metals.
Winners of the Value Leader Award were Washington Penn, Novelis Corporation, TDK Corporation of America and Mino All North America.
The Special Achievement Award went to NXP Semiconductors, Maurei De Mexico S.A. De C.V., Shoei Mexicana and Asahi Kasai Plastics North America.
NSK Corporation won the Diversity Leader Award.
Washington Penn also won the Sustainability Leader Award.
DENSO partners were evaluated based on criteria set by DENSO North American leaders and were honored in categories that closely align with DENSO's values, including quality, sustainability, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and Kaizen, or continuous improvement. All of the recipients displayed a deep commitment to operational and product excellence, as well as a drive to collaborate closely in advancing mobility through innovative products and technologies.
