BorgWarner will complete the spin-off of its aftermarket and fuel systems segments into Phinia by the end of the day on July 3.

The spin-off was announced in December, consistent with the company's Charging Forward strategy. The new company will allow BorgWarner to focus on advancing its position as a technology leader in e-products and leveraging the value of its foundational portfolio, BorgWarner says in a news release.

Phinia will be lead by CEO Brady Ericson and EVP/CFO Chris Gropp.
