Talbert Manufacturing announces 2023 dealer award winners

Talbert Manufacturing named Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel of Voorhees, New Jersey, as its top dealer for 2023. Hale has been Talbert's top dealer for 16 years and was the dealer with the most parts sales last year. 

"Hale continues to exceed our expectations," says Troy Geisler, Talbert's vice president of sales and marketing. "We are grateful for the Hale team and their continued partnership and commitment." 

Hale is a full-service dealership with 15 locations from Maine to Florida as well as Arkansas and Iowa. It provides customers with new and used trailers and equipment, offers service and repair, does trailer rental, and stocks parts and accessories. 

"We would also like to thank all of our outstanding dealers as a whole for their continued commitment to representing Talbert's core valuers and being a true partner to Talbert's customers," Geisler says. "The work our dealers put in does not go unnoticed. We will continue to do what we can to support them and our end customers." 

The other top dealers were: 

  • Blackburn Truck Equipment, Lilburn, Georgia. The company is celebrating 25 years since the start of their company. It specializes in repairs, service and installation of towing and recovery equipment, such as carriers. Installations of carriers and small wreckers can be performed on-site. 
  • Columbus Equipment Company, Columbus, Ohio. With 10 locations, this company serves the construction, mining, aggregate, lifting, paving, forestry, biomass, waste recycling, compost and landscaping industries. It includes 10 locations across Ohio. 
  • Freightliner of Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since 1978, the company has offered new and used trucks, as well as trailers for the construction, material hauling and agricultural sectors. 
  • Leslie Equipment Company, Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. Leslie supplies equipment for forestry, mining, oil and gas pipeline applications and has done for more than 45 years. It has eight locations. 
  • Lucky's Trailer Sales, Vermont. A trailer dealer that also offers parts and full-service repairs, it's a family-owned business with locations in New Hampshire and New York as well. 
  • Lynch Chicago, Alsip, Illinois. Lynch offers new and used tow trucks, wreckers, rollbacks, carriers and heavy-duty tow truck units and equipment. 
  • Remorques Lewis, La Presentation, Quebec, Canada. The company offers sales and rental of specialized heavy-haul trailers and premium semi trailers. 
  • Royal Truck & Utility Trailer, Michigan. Royal offers new and used trailers, wheel reconditioning, service and fabrication, and a large parts departments. It has seven locations in northern and eastern Michigan. 
  • West Side Tractor, Lisle, Illinois. West Side specializes in full-service construction and forestry equipment, providing standard and custom heavy-haul trailers. It has 11 locations across northern Illinois, southern Michigan and Indiana. 

Talbert has more than 80 dealership partners in North America. It recently implemented a new parts ordering system, Parts 123, to better support dealers and customers. It makes it easier for dealers to order parts and provide customers with accurate timelines for service, parts and delivery, the company says.
