Tidewater Fleet Supply hosted its annual customer appreciation dinner cruise on the Spirit of Norfolk with an audience of 240 customers and employees last week.
During the evening the company awarded Dan Stepp of Webb Wheel with its 2014 Manufacturer’s Rep of the Year award.
Presented annually, Tidewater Fleet Supply says its Rep of the Year award is based on votes collected from the 10 Tidewater Fleet Supply locations and its outside sales team. Stepp was honored for his 21 years of service with Webb Wheel, and the positive results he has produced for Tidewater Fleet Supply. The company says Stepp remains active with fleet calls and customer visits, as well as technical training and guidance with product knowledge and inventory tailoring.
He hosted a daytime ‘Lunch and Learn’ training session earlier this year on proper drum installation techniques, and his daytime format was received so positively that it is now an ongoing addition to the Tidewater Fleet Supply Technical Training Series.
With Stepp’s support, the Webb Wheel line of heavy-duty drums has had five consecutive years of sales increases with Tidewater Fleet Supply, and the Webb line has grown by 78 percent during that time, the company says.
