The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) recently held its annual election of officers and governors during the fall board of governors meeting, held recently in Dearborn, Mich.
The HDMA board is responsible for the strategic direction, performance and member satisfaction of the 220+ member Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association. HDMA’s strategic mission is to advance the commercial vehicle supplier industry and the business interests of its members.
Tim Myers, president, Alcoa Wheel & Transportation Products, has been elected Chairman of the HDMA Board of Directors for 2015. He has served on the HDMA board since 2005 and has been a member of its executive committee since 2009. He plays an active role in the HDMA board’s strategic planning group and has been a strong participant in the association’s affairs. Alcoa has been the forged aluminum wheel leader since inventing the product in 1948. Myers has led Alcoa Wheel & Transportation Products since 2009.
