Phillips Industries partners with Wyakin Warriors

phillips-WyakinPhillips Industries partnered with the Wyakin Warrior Foundation at the 2015 VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference last week in San Antonio.

The Wyakin Warrior Foundation is an organization that enables severely wounded, injured, or ill post 9/11 veterans to achieve personal and professional success as business and community leaders.

During tradeshow exhibition hours on October 20, representatives from the Wyakin Warrior Foundation joined Phillips Industries in their exhibit area to visit with meeting participants.

“We welcome the partnership with Phillips Industries and appreciate sharing space with them during the VIPAR tradeshow,” says Todd Monroe, executive director of the Wyakin Warrior Foundation. “The opportunity offered to us by Rob Phillips and his team certainly helps us spread the word about the important work we are doing.”

“Phillips Industries is a strong advocate for the Wyakin Warrior Foundation,” says Rob Phillips, president and COO of Phillips Industries. “Their education, employment and leadership goals for veterans are a targeted cause that resonates with us. Sharing space with them at the VIPAR tradeshow was an extraordinary experience.”

Phillips has designated five percent of the total proceeds from their VIPAR Business Conference promotional special to go to the foundation.

Phillips says proceeds will support the Wyakin Warrior Foundation in providing multifaceted mentoring, financial support, professional development, and networking tailored to each Warrior’s unique journey and goals, culminating in an education and meaningful employment.
