More than two dozen companies have committed to participating in the Merchandising 2.0 program at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2016 next week in Las Vegas.
Merchandising 2.0 is a valuable opportunity for exhibiting suppliers to demonstrate to attending distributors the best way for their product to be displayed in their booths at HDAW. Merchandising 2.0 has three elements: an education session on Tuesday, an interactive merchandising display in the hallway leading to the Product Expo, and merchandising displays of their product line in exhibitors’ booths during the Product Expo hours.
HDAW organizers say the participating companies will demonstrate the best ways to merchandise their products through gondolas, planograms, and photos. Additionally, they are identified as a participant on the printed tradeshow maps, in the HDAW mobile app.
The education session titled “Merchandising 2.0 – The Importance of Merchandising” by Butch Hill, of Hill Diversified Group, will kick off the entire focus at 1 p.m. PST, Tuesday, Jan. 26, in the Terry Fator Theater.
