Firestone Industrial Products Company will debut a new heavy-duty air springs app and its newest Air Spring Replacement catalog at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2016, next week in Las Vegas.
“We understand that the trucking industry is not a 9-to-5 operation. We’re thrilled to give HDAW attendees a special preview of the Firestone Heavy Duty Air Springs app, which is engineered to be accessible on or offline, bringing real-time information to the industry’s fingertips whenever and wherever it’s needed,” says Corey Moore, director, North American Heavy Duty at Firestone Industrial Products.
In addition, Firestone says the app includes access to cross-reference drawings, product information, bulletins and marketing collateral, along with a locator to help direct customers to their nearest dealer. For customers needing assistance, the app also offers a forum to submit questions. The app, which is being previewed at Firestone’s booth (#914) on a larger-than-life, 48-plus-in.-mock iPhone display, will be available for download in the App Store and Google Play store in Q1.
The 2016 Air Spring Replacement catalog is a comprehensive collection of high-quality replacement parts, updated interchanges, specifications and images, and a quick cross reference of complementary products for adjacent markets, such as light-duty and industrial, Firestone says. The newly unveiled catalog reflects the brand’s innovation and expertise with reinvigorated messaging targeted at the company’s core audiences. And Firestone adds its booth display also will include many of the company’s Airide air springs.
