Haldex announced Tuesday it has updated its website to provide customers an improved user experience.

According to Haldex, the updated site now features online ordering, a competitive cross-reference interchange and a detailed literature search. Built with user functionality in mind, the website is available on any mobile platform.

“We will continue to develop our online capabilities to make it easier for our customers to quickly access product information, customer specific data and Haldex services,” says Mark Owen, vice president, Aftermarket Sales North America.

Haldex says the ordering function on the site is built around a “Click to Order” function. Customers can view part numbers, product drawings, images and product dimensions as well as, check real time availability of parts within the site, then conveniently place an order by clicking on the part number to enter it into their online shopping cart. Additionally, the “My Haldex” tab on the site allows customers to check order status, review order history (with the ability to search by purchase order), view invoices, and core report summaries (and core return analysis).

Product literature also can be sorted by document type including:  brochure, user guide, technical information etc. by product category or by language. All available literature pieces can be viewed, downloaded or printed, the company says.

Haldex adds that more than 20,000 part numbers are featured in its most popular electronic tool, the Haldex Cross Reference interchange, which allows customers to easily cross a competitive part number to a Haldex number.
