The unthinkable happened to Total Truck Parts employee Brett Smith earlier this month when Hurricane Irma tore through Florida and decimated his home.

An employee at the company’s Fort Myers store, Smith wasn’t the only Total Truck Parts employee to suffer damage during the storm, but his damage was the most extreme. So much so that Total Truck Parts has started a fundraising campaign to help him rebuild.

The company is fronting him finances to begin his rebuild and all employee donations to his rebuilding efforts are being matched by Total Truck Parts. Additionally, the company is working to secure donations for other areas of the aftermarket community to aid in Smith’s rebuild.

Total Truck Parts says any aftermarket members interested in helping the Smith family rebuild can do so by sending donations to Total Truck Parts’ Fort Myers store, attention Tom Gibson. The address is 5827 Corporation Cir, Fort Myers, FL 33905.

UPDATE (Monday, Sept. 25): Total Truck Parts reports it has already received more than $10,000 in donations for the Smith family from industry members. The company and the Smith family thank the market for all current and future support.
