Light-, medium-duty Powerstroke tech training scheduled for May

Omaha, Neb., will be the sight of an upcoming light- and medium-duty technician training event.

Set for May 2-7, 2018, this week-long event will feature a variety of single-day courses designed to aid service technicians working on Ford Powerstroke engines and light- and medium-duty commercial trucks. The training will be led by Mike Cleary, an internationally recognized trainer who has presented high tech driveability and electronics training for technicians for more than 17 years. Cleary is an eight-time award-winning Ford Motor Company Certified Senior Master Technician and Powerstroke Diesel Engine Specialist, and was a founding board member of Ford Motor Company’s Professional Technician Society.

Cleary says the courses being offered in May will address 6.7-liter Powerstroke diagnostics, 6.7-liter Powerstroke fact and fiction and truck electrical systems. Each course will be offered twice during the week to better accommodate attendee schedules. Cleary says there is a 10 percent discount for additional technicians from the same company, and Association of Diesel Specialists (ADS) members receive 15 percent off posted prices if registration form is received by April 6, 2018.
