Dayco appoints new VP of aftermarket sales

Dayco Products has appointed Daniel Sheehan as vice president of aftermarket sales. Sheehan will lead all sales, business development and marketing efforts in the United States.

According to the company, Sheehan brings more than 25 years of diverse automotive experience in sales leadership, global business development and marketing. Most recently Sheehan served as director of automotive sales for Stabilus, Inc., where he was instrumental in implementing and leading strategic global projects. Sheehan also held several senior management positions with Zen S.A. Industria Metalurgica, DENSO Corporation and Cooper Industries.

Dan’s experience will help provide greater efficiencies and value for our customers,”  says Bruno Vallillo, president global aftermarket.“With Dayco’s commitment to innovation and always moving forward, we are building a dedicated team for the Aftermarket Division with an intense commitment to service that will lead us to the next level. The addition of Dan Sheehan is the latest example of these efforts with more to follow in the coming months.”

As a trustee of the board for the University of Aftermarket Foundation and member of the Automotive Sales Council, Dayco says Sheehan also is an advocate for continued success of the aftermarket and aftermarket education programs.
