Neapco’s Ditlow retiring after 49 years with company

Neapco Holdings, LLC, announced Thursday the impending retirement of Steve Ditlow, vice president, aftermarket sales and marketing.

Ditlow started at Neapco in August 1969 and has the longest full-time continuous service in company history. His career started in the engineering department, then moved into many positions in production, planning, and sales. Ditlow was plant manager for operations in Pottstown, Pa. He also managed the aftermarket driveline service unit, and was promoted to the position of vice president, aftermarket sales and marketing, thereafter. Under his leadership, Neapco says the aftermarket components division has grown steadily with the Neapco Brands prominently positioned in the marketplace.

Ditlow will be replaced by Tim Goode, effective immediately, with Ditlow continuing in a supporting role to assure a smooth transition.

Neapco says Goode has more than 30 years of experience within the commercial truck, automotive, off-highway, and motor sports markets.  Prior to joining Neapco, he was the director of sales for AxleTech for North America and Australia. He also was instrumental in the growth of the Aftermarket for the off-highway and motor sports divisions. During his career, Neapco says Goode also was vice president of sales at WAI Global and for more than 20 years, held sales management positions at Dana Corporation in its commercial and automotive divisions.

In his new role with Neapco, Goode will be responsible for leading the aftermarket sales organization, marketing, customer service, product management, and e-commerce business for the Neapco components aftermarket division.
