Redline Emissions Products introduces Born on Weights for its heavy-duty diesel particulate filters.
According to the company, Born on Weights will allow service providers and vehicle owners to compare the current weight of a DPF to its weight when produced to better identify its age and status in its life cycle.
The company says by weighing a DPF before and after a cleaning service providers will also be able to determine exactly how clean a DPF may be, ensuring no DPF will be reinstalled on a truck unless it is completely clean and ready for continued use.
