HDAW highlights hiring, retaining employees and technology advances

Hda WpngHomer Hogg, director of technical service for TA/Petro, will help distributor attendees of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2019 with ideas and best practices to prevent turnover, recruit the best people in the business, and keep their customers coming back. Gerry Mead, executive director of innovation at Phillips Industries, will highlight technology advances in component development and intelligent trucks coupled with increased customer vehicle uptime expectations.

In Hogg’s session, “Growing and Keeping Your Best Assets: People,” he will share what high performing organizations do to make sure they have the right people working in the right positions, and he will present a list of tangible action items and new resources that attendees can tailor to implement in their own businesses.

During Mead’s session, “Impact of Better Products and Changing Industries,” he will highlight how IoT and high-tech transportation will transform the future of the heavy-duty aftermarket with an accompanying technology adaption roadmap to ensure businesses are keeping up with the tools, training and materials they will need for the future.
