GenNext and the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) announce distributor spots are still available for the 2019 Distributor Training Expo.
Scheduled for April 26-28, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, the distributor attendee maximum for this fourth annual event is 200 attendees. Organizers say this year’s event will feature at least two dozen industry suppliers and include a hands-on training exhibition hall and classroom training courses for all attendees.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Albert Bates, principal in the Distribution Performance Project, a research group devoted to distribution issues.
Bates makes approximately 50 presentations each year on topics such as Improving the Bottom Line, Getting Serious About Profit, Doing More with Less, and Pricing for Profit. His presentation at the Distributor Training Expo, “Not Just Sales, Profitable Sales,” will focus on how to ensure that every sales is profitable. It will highlight two key issues—order economics and gross margin maintenance.
DTE organizers say distributor registration for the event covers all of these training opportunities as well as all hotel, transportation and food expenses during the week.
