Meritor has opened registration for its aftermarket product training event in Tampa later this month, the company announced Tuesday.
Ideal for parts/sales and service personnel, Meritor says its training sessions are focused on improving customer satisfaction by providing attendees with proactive, solution-oriented skills and product information. The Tampa-based events are part of Meritor’s year-long training series, with additional events scheduled throughout the United States and Canada.
Meritor says the Technical Parts/Sales Training events will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30 or Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019. Lunch will be provided during the event. Topics to be covered include air disc brakes, brake inspection and maintenance, diagnostics, new Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and more, the company says.
Additionally, Meritor will hold a Fleet Night from 5:30 p.m. to 9 pm. Wednesday, Jan. 30. Dinner will be provided during the event. Topics to be covered during this event include air disc brakes, CVSA brake inspection criteria, diagnosis, brake balance and more.
Each training event will be held at the Homewood Suites Conference Center, 10240 Palm River Rd., Tampa, FL 33619.
