Mike Cleary announces he will host his next training courses in Kelowna, BC, May 3-5.
One class will be devoted to electrical diagnosis and include such topics as how to simplify complex wiring diagrams, what the “real world” voltage drop specs are, pinpoint test shortcuts and common diagnostic mistakes and how to avoid them.
The second class, “Ford Powerstroke Diesel: Fact or Fiction?” will address the many misconceptions about some of the systems operations and diagnostics procedures and specifications on the various Ford Powerstroke Diesel Electronic Engine Control Systems produced to date: 7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L, and 6.7L. This interactive class will inform and either dispel or support some of the more commonly held “myths” regarding these engine systems.
Classes three and four will cover 6.7L and 6.4L powerstroke diesel diagnostics, including powerstroke systems and subsystems operation and strategies; no start, hard start and performance diagnostics; how to diagnose and repair the most common fault codes; and troubleshooting shortcuts to increase efficiency.
