The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) announces DeCarolis Heavy Duty Parts has joined its association.

DeCarolis Heavy Duty started in 1938 when Louis DeCarolis, Sr., bought a truck and used it to transport day laborers to and from farmers’ fields. It did not take long before he was asked to haul the produce to the processing plants. Out of these modest beginnings, he created a small carting company in 1938, known as DeCarolis Trucking Company, and set in place a plan to add other transportation services.

Routinely recognized by The Rochester Business Journal’s RBJ75, which recognizes the top 75 local businesses and organizations in the area, DeCarolis’ mission is to provide and maintain commercial vehicles for business. A member of HDA Truck Pride, DeCarolis is a full-service truck leasing and rental business serving Upstate New York.

DeCarolis’ General Manager Greg Rawleigh says “one takeaway for joining CVSN it to get more involved with CVSN’s training and networking.”

“It is an honor for CVSN to welcome DeCarolis to our industry family,” says Angelo Volpe, CVSN executive vice president. “Strong and committed companies like DeCarolis who want to keep their employees trained on the latest technology and parts and show they still value the power of strong relationships in or industry says a lot of their organizational values. Relationship building is still a vital component to the future success of a company in our business today.”
