HDA Truck Pride Chief Operating Officer Tina Hubbard provided the keynote address at Northwood University and the University of the Aftermarket’s Leadership 2.0 program earlier this summer.
The University of the Aftermarket says 40 aftermarket professionals attended this year’s week-long Leadership 2.0 program at Northwood’s campus in Midland, Mich. Hubbard’s keynote address came early in the week at the course’s introductory dinner.
Hubbard spent 30 minutes discussing her career in the automotive aftermarket, which includes a heavy focus on the commercial vehicle industry. She also discussed market drivers for the commercial vehicle aftermarket, leadership and career advice, and addressed being a female in a male-dominated industry.
“I’m honored to have been selected as the keynote speaker for this year’s Leadership 2.0 class” she said. “This is the next generation of leaders within our industry and it was a privilege to share insights that I’ve gained throughout my career.”
University of the Aftermarket is a continued learning program providing industry-specific professional development to those working in the industry. For nearly three decades, the University of the Aftermarket has offered on-campus, online and on the job training. They are an integral part of Northwood University’s continuing education.
