Dominic NorkoHDA Truck Pride has announced Dominic Norko as its 2019-2020 academic scholarship recipient. Norko attends Northwood University in Midland, Mich., and is majoring in Automotive Aftermarket Management and Finance.
“It means a lot to receive this scholarship from such a great aftermarket organization and it is greatly appreciated. It is the support from caring individuals and organizations that help students, like myself, continue to work hard and achieve great things,” Norko says.
Norko is beginning his Junior year and is involved in campus life, including the Aftermarket Club, Students for Sustainability Club, Alpha Sigma Phi and Northwood’s student-led Auto Show.
“Continued focus on our next generation of leaders is at the core of why we’re here,” says Don Reimondo, president and CEO, HDA Truck Pride. “We’re humbled to have such a quality pool of students to choose from and are confident Dominic will represent the scholarship well.”
The scholarship was established to honor the memory of two important figures in the aftermarket industry, Pete Bley of Tractor Trailer Supply Company and Jim Burke Sr. of Drive Train Industries. The annual award is given to a Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket student.
