The heavy-duty aftermarket has a new voice in the podcasting world.

Longtime industry veteran Jamie Irvine has introduced The Heavy Duty Parts Report, a regularly scheduled podcast that is dedicated to discussing the challenges faced in today’s competitive aftermarket parts landscape.

Irvine entered the trucking industry in 1998 when he started working for a remanufacturer and has since worked as an operations manager and sales account manager. He says he started The Heavy Duty Parts Report because he felt the industry was underserved in the podcasting space and saw an opportunity to shine a lot on some of the industry’s biggest issues. Irvine adds the main focus of the podcast is to provide expert advice about the heavy-duty parts that fleets and repair shops buy and to encourage everyone to consider cost-per-mile over purchase price, though the program also includes interviews with industry CEOs and subject matter experts, as well as in-depth product review and tech tips.

“I want to keep people informed about what is going on” in the market, he says.

Interested parties can listen to the podcast and subscribe HERE, and the program’s interviews and product presentations also can be found on YouTube.
