The UnderHood 70 is now available for International 6.6L Duramax V8 diesel trucks on the CV 515 chassis, as well as GMC C4500 through C6500 6.6L Duramax V8 diesel trucks.
“Our engineering team works hard on an ongoing basis to develop new applications as new model year trucks are released,” says Barry Fitzgerald, director of engineering and quality, VMAC. “Our customers asked for an UnderHood application for the latest Chevy and International trucks and we are pleased to deliver on that request.”
This newest application for the UnderHood 70 is just the latest available, with additional 2019 applications previously released for Ford and RAM trucks, the company says. Several 2020 model year applications already are in development and will be released after they are tested on the new trucks once they arrive.
“UnderHood air compressors are in high demand because they are lightweight, save space and deliver air power on demand in any climate,” says Mike Pettigrew, VMAC marketing manager. “The UnderHood is VMAC’s flagship product, first developed in the 1990’s, and continues to be one of our most popular air compressor systems to this day.”
