PAI released new EGR cooler, oil cooler part numbers

PAI EGR coolerPAI Industries has released a large number of EGR coolers and cooler kits to the heavy-duty aftermarket.

PAI Industries says all of its new EGR coolers are built to OEM fit and form and have no core charge. The company’s cooler kits also feature gaskets, o-rings, mounting plates, bolts and washers. The company has EGR coolers for Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, International, Mack and Volvo applications .

“A properly operating EGR cooler will reduce Nitrogen Oxide Emissions (NOx). Today’s diesel engines recirculate spent exhaust and reintroduce those hot gasses back into the engine,” the company says. “The EGR cooler filters that exhaust while helping to cool the air before going back into the engine. If [a] check engine light is on, it may be because [an] EGR cooler has failed due to contamination resulting in engine misfires, hesitation and surging.”

PAI adds all its new EGR coolers and oil coolers come with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
