The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry last week (Jan. 13-19, 2020).

  • The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) has named its new officers: president – Sean Ryan, Point Spring and Driveshaft; vice president – Nick Seidel, Action Truck Parts; treasurer – Ian Johnston, Harman HVS; CVSN executive vice president – Angelo Volpe. CVSN’s board of directors are: Mark Sumka – Fleet Brake Parts & Service; Michael Callison Jr. – Midwest Wheel Companies; Tom Labat – Vander Haag’s, Inc.; Mark Owen – Haldex; Keith Evans – Meritor; Andy Robblee – Six Robblees’ – Ex- Officio.
  • Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) announced Sean Waters has been promoted to the newly-created role of vice president of product compliance and regulatory affairs. Waters most recently performed as DTNA’s director of product compliance and regulatory affairs.
  • Hendrickson announces Matt Joy has been promoted to chief operating officer; Richard Mudd has been promoted to vice president and general manager, Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems; and Matt Van Meter has been promoted to vice president and general manager, Specialty Products Group.
  • Meritor has appointed Chris Villavarayan as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
  • The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), has announced its new executives and board of the directors for 2020. PSI President and CEO Tim Musgrave has been named MEMA Chairman. Other executives are: Vice Chairman – Marc Blackman, President and COO, Gold Eagle Company; Vice Chairman – Mike Mansuetti, President, Robert Bosch; Treasurer – Joe McAleese, Chairman, Bendix CVS, LLC; and Peter Butterfield, Chairman and CEO, Omega Environmental Technologies. The remaining members of the Board of Directors include: Francoise Colpron, Group President, Valeo; Rick Dauch, CEO, Delphi Technologies; Justin Greenberg, CEO, Dieselcore; Director Dominic Grote, President and CEO, Grote Industries; Director David Overbeeke, President and CEO, Brake Parts Inc.; Director Tom Ward, Sr. Vice President and President, Repair System and Information Group, Snap-on; and Director Dan Sceli, CEO, Cadillac Products Automotive Company.
  • Procede Software has promoted Deanna Cocco to chief customer officer.
  • TransAxle has named Mark Rohde as its new CEO. Rohde replaces Dave Olsen, who had served as TransAxle CEO since 2010.
  • US Tarp announced Thomas J. Bronz has been named president and CEO.
