The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry last week (Jan. 27-Feb. 2, 2020).

  • Lubrication Specialties has named Josh Steinmetz as its new digital marketing manager.
  • Phillips Industries has promoted Michael Poschner to director of sales for Canada.
  • The Remanufacturing Industries Council announced newly elected Officers and two new board members. The newly elected officers include: Chairman Vaughn Henson, firector of business fevelopment, SRC Holdings Corporation; Vice-Chair Jena Holtberg-Benge, general manager, John Deere Reman; Secretary Paul Adamson, chief revenue officer, America’s Remanufacturing Company; Treasurer Michael Schmit, director, Remanufacturing Technology, GE Healthcare; and  Immediate Past Chair John Disharoon, director, market access, Caterpillar. New board members, Carl Fletcher, leader reman and aftersales development, Navistar, and Mark Nugent, senior director of strategy and business development, BBB Industries, were elected to two-year terms starting Feb. 1, 2020.
  • Spartan Motors announced the appointment of its incoming chief financial officer, Jonathan C. Douyard, effective no later than March 31, 2020.
  • US Tarp has appointed Tom Bronz, president and CEO. The leadership team includes Todd Martinson, co-founder; Ashley Hanko, director of sales; Marti Kupres, product development; and Steve Moerdyk, vice president and controller.
