Meritor recently finalized the second location for its Aftermarket Sales/Parts and Service Training events to be held this year.
The first event will be held Feb. 5-6, 2020 in Dallas. The second event, confirmed last week, will be held Feb. 19-20 in Little Rock, Ark.
Meritor says its Aftermarket Training events focus on component product function and features for parts/sales personnel as well as proper maintenance and diagnostic procedures for technicians. The sessions are focused on improving customer satisfaction by providing attendees with proactive, solution-oriented skills and product information.
The Little Rock-based events are part of Meritor’s year-long training series, the company says, with additional events scheduled throughout the United States and Canada. The Little Rock courses will be held at Hilton Garden Inn North Little Rock, 4100 Glover Lane, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
The Parts/Sales training event will be held 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT, Feb. 19, or 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT Feb. 20. Topics covered include air disc brakes, foundation brake hardware, brake inspection and maintenance, diagnostics, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and more, Meritor says.
The Service training event is set for 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT, Feb. 19., or 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT, Feb. 20. Topics covered include air disc brakes, brake hardware, diagnosis, brake burnishing, driveline, suspension and more, the company says.
