Turbo Solutions will be hosting three new variable geometry technology (VGT) turbocharger technical training webinars in 2020.
These 30-minute classes will focus on turbocharger failures, causes and preventative maintenance and are targeted for inside and outside parts sales associates, service managers and technicians.
“Our training in 2019 was the first year that we offered this free service to the industry. The feedback was that we should make it even better in 2020,” says John Ferry, executive vice president, Turbo Solutions. “As I have said many times, distributors do so much more than just sell parts. We want to fully support them with the information they need. We are turbocharger specialists; that’s all we do and our people understand this complicated product.”
Turbo Solutions’ training schedule is as follows:
- March 20: Why VGT turbochargers fail prematurely
- June 26: How engine aftertreatment components affect VGT turbochargers
- Sept. 25: Understanding the causes of turbocharger oil leakage
