The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry last week (Feb. 24-March 1, 2020).

  • American Truck Dealers (ATD), a division of NADA, has announced this year’s board of line representatives: Steve Bassett, chairman, Term 2020-2022; Jodie Teuton, immediate past chairwoman, Term 2020-2021; Jeff Speno, Ford line representative, Term 2020- 2023; Kevin Holmes, Freightliner line representative, Term 2019-2022; Scott McCandless, International line representative, Term 2018-2021; Keith Rutherford, Isuzu line representative, Term 2020-2023; Jodie Teuton, Kenworth line representative, 2020-2023; Jon Pritchett, Mack line representative, 2018-2021; David Morganson, Peterbilt line representative, 2018-2021; Kim Mesfin, Volvo line representative, 2019-2022; William Thompson, NextGen Chair, 2020-2021; Oscar Horton, 2020 Truck Dealer of the Year, 2020; Myron Rau, Automotive Trade Association Executive representative, 2020.
  • American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council announced Stacy Earnhardt, director of asset management, Best Specialized, has been elected 2020-2021 general chairman and treasurer.
  • MHC’s Adam Werner has earned the Lytx Driver of the Year award. This is the fourth straight year a MHC driver has won the award.
  • Paccar Parts has announced the 2020 Peterbilt Parts Council. The members of the 2020 council are: Chairman Michael Beeghly, The Peterbilt Store (Richmond, Va.); Ryan Saner, The Larson Group (Strafford, Mo.); Lee Anderson, Jackson Group Peterbilt (Salt Lake City, Utah); Derek Lanahan, Rush Peterbilt Truck Center (Oklahoma City); Mike Warburton, Doonan Peterbilt (Great Bend, Kan.); Whitt Michael, Rush Enterprises (New Braunfels, Texas); Brandan Cobb, Hunter Peterbilt (Pittsburgh); John Ball, The Peterbilt Store (Columbia, S.C.); Howie Poirier, Cervus Equipment Peterbilt (Stoney Creek, Ontario); and Brent Lawrence, Stahl Peterbilt (Edmonton, Alberta).
  • Mike Hasinec, vice president of maintenance, Penske Truck Leasing, is the 2020 recipient of the CCJ Technology and Maintenance Career Leadership Award.
  • Rush Truck Centres of Canada announced Vice President of Operations Richard Shortt has been appointed president and chief operating officer of the company following the planned departure of Roger Poirier.
  • STEMCO has promoted Chip Stuhr to the role of vice president, sales and marketing.
  • Stertil-Koni announced Carl Boyer has been named shop equipment specialist.
  • Tenneco announced its board of directors has named Dennis J. Letham lead independent director as well as appointed new chairpersons and reconstituted the membership of each board committee. These changes take effect on April 1, 2020. Tenneco’s board committees will be as follows: Nominating and Governance Committee — Jane L. Warner (chair), Roger B. Porter and Charles K. Stevens III; Audit Committee —Thomas C. Freyman (chair), Denise Gray, Dennis J. Letham and Jane L. Warner; and Compensation Committee — James S. Metcalf (chair), Thomas C. Freyman, Denise Gray and Charles K. Stevens III.
