The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry last week (March 16-March 22, 2020):
- Proterra announced its board of directors has appointed current Chairman Jack Allen as chairman and CEO. Ryan Popple, Proterra’s CEO since 2014, was named co-founder and executive director.
- Dan Murphy, president and CEO, Idealease, has been named chairman of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) board of directors. BT Steadman, managing member, Vacuum Truck Rentals, was elected vice chairman; Scott Anderson, senior vice president, Rush Truck Leasing, was elected secretary; Tom Brown, CEO, Brown NationaLease, was elected treasurer; Larry Price, director, operations, Palmer Leasing Group, was elected immediate past chairman.
- Tenneco announced Kenneth R. Trammell has been appointed interim chief financial officer, effective April 1, 2020. Trammell’s appointment follows Jason Hollar’s decision to leave the role of executive vice president and CFO. The company also appointed Aleksandra (“Aleks”) Miziolek to its board of directors and named Miziolek and Roy Armes to its Nominating and Governance Committee.
