SAF-Holland announced it will be moving its Eastern Region Aftermarket Distribution Center to a newly built, Class-A distribution facility in northwest Cincinnati.
The over 135,000-sq.-ft. facility, opening in Q2 2023, will provide more space and improve efficiency which will allow the company to better serve its customers. Designed for improved flow of material, the larger facility provides more square footage for material storage and a dedicated areas for value added services such as kitting, SAF-Holland says.
The new facility, built by industrial real estate developer Ambrose Property Group, is located within the Fairfield Commerce Park and allows SAF-Holland to stock a broad product range and ensure appropriate safety stock levels on fast moving parts. This will improve availability and reduce lead times for distribution customers and, ultimately, end users.
“Our investment in the Cincinnati Distribution Center enables us to better meet customer demand because we can increase our product availability and reduce wait times,” says Matt Wolfe, vice president and general manager – aftermarket (Americas). “With better space utilization we can serve our customers better and provide for growth with future customers.”
Employees of the DC will enjoy a safe, work-friendly environment with closer parking areas and added space for a larger, climate-controlled break room.
The new location features numerous dock doors to maximize shipping and receiving efficiency and has direct access to I-275 and I-75 in the heart of Cincinnati’s largest industrial area.
