Penske opens first LEED-certified full-service rental, leasing facility

Penske Truck Leasing opened its first LEED-certified rental and leasing facility in Akron, Ohio. 

The 23,816-square-foot building on 9.85 acres offers consumer and commercial truck rental, full-service truck leasing and contract truck fleet maintenance.

"Opening our first full-service truck leasing facility with LEED certification is an example of our organization's commitment to being good neighbors and stewards of the environment." 

Penske says the facility also offers digital, voice-directed preventive maintenance and digital experience solutions; options related to onboard technology such as telematics and onboard cameras; four pull-through service bays; an automatic truck wash bay; and full-service fuel. 

Penske employs 60 associates at the new facility.
