Whiteford Kenworth has broken ground on a new state of the art 73,000-sq.-ft., full-service truck dealership, conveniently located at the intersection of I-75 and I-80/90 in Rossford, Ohio.
Whiteford Kenworth is the oldest heavy duty truck dealership group in Northwest Ohio, having served the area for over 40 years. With its new store, Whiteford will expand their operations to 11 total locations, creating new jobs in the community and providing an expanded area of service for their customers.
“We are thrilled to begin work on our new full-service dealership in Rossford, Ohio. When designing the building, we put a heavy focus on how we can better serve our valued customers. Our plans include a 16,000 sq.-ft., modern showroom, allowing three trucks to be showcased at any given time, and a lounge for our drivers, which includes laundry and shower facilities. The building will also include 29 service bays, including a wash bay and overhead cranes, giving us the space to service a large number of customers every day,” says Ron Whiteford, president of Whiteford Kenworth. ”Our warehouse will have a 27,000 sq.-ft., area, which provides ample storage space to stock all of the parts our customers most frequently require. Upon entering the facility, our customers will drive through a canopy comprised of solar panels, projected to generate 58 MWh (Megawatt hours) of electricity per year.
