FTR announces keynotes for conference

FTR Transportation Intelligence announced its keynote speakers for its Transportation Conference 2024, Sept. 9-12 in Indianapolis. 

David Carson will speak to truck equipment on Sept. 9.

Carson is the senior vice president of sales and marketing for Daimler Truck North America. He leads all sales, marketing and strategic planning activity for DTNA's complete line of on-highway and vocational trucks. Carson was previously senior vice president of vocational sales and marketing for Freightliner and Western Star Trucks and as president and CEO of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation. He oversaw engineering, operations and sales and marketing for DTNA's chassis business. 

Erin Van Zeeland will talk about truck freight on Sept. 10. 

Van Zeeland is chief commercial officer and senior vice president and general manager of logistics at Schneider National. She is accountable for the strategy, execution, and growth and profitability of Schneider's fastest-growing segment, including brokerage, supply chain and distribution management, and the power-only service offering. As chief commercial officer, she is responsible for commercial strategy and the development of the organization, which includes activities relating to marketing, sales, sales force effectiveness, product development and services that drive business growth and expanded market share.
