Whiteford Kenworth celebrated its 50th year as a Kenworth dealer with a new location in Rossford, Ohio.
"This new dealership reflects our commitment to innovation, our community, an ever-increasing level of customer service and environmental responsibility," says R.C. Euler, vice president. "We were honored to celebrate this exciting day with our customers, community, employees and industry partners."
The Rossford grand opening was Sept. 4. The company welcomed more than 300 guests, including local officials, first responders, industry partners, customers, suppliers and community members for lunch, refreshments and guided tours. Suppliers showcased displays, demonstrations, handed out literature and responded to technical questions.
The new facility, located at 9200 Sportsman's Drive, is 78,000 sq.-ft., with 29 service bays, including a motorized bridge overhead crane system and wash bay.
It also features:
- A 27,000 sq.-ft. parts warehouse ensures timely fulfillment of parts requirements.
- A modern showroom for Kenworth trucks and a driver's lounge with laundry and shower facilities, TV and Wi-Fi.
- A dedicated tool room helps technicians organize and track diagnostic and specialty tools and a training room can hold up to 50 people to support ongoing education.
- A service canopy with a solar array that can generate 58 MWh of auxiliary power every year.
