Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new travel stop in Rock Falls located at 2801 Hoover Road (I-88 and State Route 40).
The new travel stop has 85 truck parking spaces, seven diesel service bays, a CAT scale and provides free parking for Love’s customers, helping to address the national truck parking shortage. So far in 2026, Love’s has added 1,076 truck parking spaces across the country.
Located between Love’s Rochelle, Illinois, location and the Iowa state border, the new location in Rock Falls provides a much-needed stop for professional drivers, RVers and motorists navigating I-88 and State Route 40 in northern Illinois.
“This expansion directly supports the regional and national supply chain by adding essential truck parking and fueling capacity along a heavy freight corridor where reliable, clean amenities are vital for driver safety and transport efficiency,” the company says.
In honor of the grand opening in Rock Falls, Love’s will donate $5,000 to the Sauk Valley Foodbank and $5,000 to Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
Modernization of other stores completed
Additionally, under Love’s Road Ahead Plan, the company recently celebrated the remodels of its store in Southeast Oklahoma City, and four locations on the Kansas Turnpike including locations in Belle Plaine, El Dorado (Towanda), Cassoday (Matfield Green), and Topeka. Guests can now experience updated environments designed to improve traffic flow and elevate the overall shopping experience.
