Whiteford Kenworth recently held its inaugural Truck Show, held Sept. 19, 2026, at the dealership's Rossford, Ohio, location. The family-friendly event welcomed truck enthusiasts, owners, drivers, industry partners, employees and community members for a day celebrating the trucking industry and the pride owners take in their vehicles.
The event featured five competitive show classes: Combo; Bobtail; Vocational; Towing & Recovery and Vintage (25+ Years Old); with first- and second-place awards presented in each class. In addition, judges and attendees recognized outstanding entries through the presentation of the prestigious Best in Show award and the crowd favorite People's Choice Award.
Beyond the competition, the event offered entertainment and activities for the entire family. Dealership tours were conducted and children enjoyed two bounce houses throughout the day. Everyone was served a complimentary lunch with BBQ pork, hot dogs and hamburgers. Show truck owners, drivers, and their guests also received custom commemorative event T-shirts as a token of appreciation for their participation.
"Seeing the enthusiasm of the trucking community, the support of our sponsors and employees, and the turnout from families and guests made our first truck show a tremendous success," says R.C. Euler, vice president for Whiteford Kenworth. "Despite the occasional rain showers, we consider this inaugural event a big success and demonstrated the passion that our customers and truck owners have by showcasing some exceptional quality trucks in our inaugural show."
Whiteford Kenworth extends its sincere appreciation to every truck entrant, guest, employee, volunteer and sponsors whose support made the inaugural event possible. Their contributions helped create an enjoyable experience that celebrated both the trucking industry, valued customers, and employees, the company says.
Following the overwhelming success of the event, the company says planning is already underway for our 2nd Annual Truck Show to be held Saturday September 11th next year. Organizers look forward to building on this year's momentum and creating an even improved experience for participants, customers and guests in the future.
