Whiteford Kenworth recently held its grand opening and ribbon cutting at its all-new, state-of-the-art dealership and service facility located at 9200 Sportsman’s Drive, Rossford, Ohio.

This milestone event coincides with Whiteford Kenworth’s 50th anniversary as an authorized Kenworth Truck Company dealer, a testament to five decades of service, innovation, and commitment to the trucking industry.

“We couldn’t be more excited to open our doors and welcome the community into this inspiring new dealership,” says Ron Whiteford, president of Whiteford Kenworth. “As we celebrate 50 years of partnership with Kenworth Truck Company and dedication to our customers, this new facility reflects the next chapter of innovation, efficiency and environmental responsibility. It has been carefully designed to streamline workflow, reduce environmental impact and provide a modern, welcoming space for the truck driving community.”

The company states key features of the new 75,680 sq.-ft., dealership include:

  • Optimized Workflow Design: Purposefully engineered to improve operational flow, enabling greater service efficiency, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Sustainable Infrastructure: The site incorporates two solar power structures that support supplemental energy use, reinforcing Whiteford Kenworth’s long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship.
  • State-of-the-Art Service Center: Outfitted with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, specialty tools, and an integrated crane system for rapid, reliable repair and maintenance.
  • Enhanced Driver Amenities: The facility features a 24-hour dedicated driver’s lounge, complete with shower and laundry services, ensuring drivers have a comfortable space to rest and recharge during downtime.

This project reflects our shared dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainability - values that support the essential work of the trucking industry. It has been a privilege to once again partner with the Whiteford Kenworth team and help bring their vision to life on this exceptional Toledo-area campus,” adds Andy Nesbitt, president of Nuway Construction, the project’s builder.
