Reading Truck Group announced has acquired Semi Service Inc., a distributor and upfitter specializing in work truck and semi-truck equipment sales, installation, service and repair.
With two locations in Salt Lake City, Utah, and one in Caldwell, Idaho, the addition of Semi Service expands Reading’s footprint into the west and positions the company for further growth.

The addition of Semi Service, and its three locations to the Reading portfolio, increases the number of Reading’s distribution and upfitting locations to 17 centers nationwide, the company says.

In addition to expanding Reading’s national footprint, the acquisition of Semi Service, also increases the range of products and services available to customers, while complementing the portfolio of business units owned by J.B. Poindexter & Co., a best-in-class manufacturing and commercial transportation business enterprise, the company says.
