Atlantic Utility Trailer acquires Utility Trailer Sales of New Jersey

Atlantic Utility Trailer acquired Utility Trailer Sales of New Jersey, Utility Trailer announced Monday.

Atlantic Utility, based in Thorofare, New Jersey, has long served south New Jersey and Southeast Pennsylvania. With the acquisition of Utility of New Jersey, it will expand into north New Jersey, the metro New York area and Long Island. 

Tom Barton, CEO of Atlantic Trailer, and Spencer Kiernan, CFO and COO, will continue their roles, overseeing the combined business. 

"Atlantic leadership extends a warm welcome to the Dwyer family and the entire Utility Trailer Sales of New Jersey team as we start this new chapter together," Barton says. 

Parts, service and sales facilities will be located in Thorofare, New Jersey, and North Brunswick, New Jersey, with additional facilities located to serve an expanding custmoer base. 

"We look forward to building our common core values and vision for the future as we work together to grow the combined entity," Kiernan says.
