MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers and MacKay & Company continue to announce information about Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue 2025.
This full-day event will take place on Jan. 20, 2025, preceding the opening of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW). As always, HD Aftermarket Dialogue will provide a deep dive into the critical issues, challenges, and opportunities facing the heavy-duty aftermarket sector. It also will offer an immersive experience, featuring thought leadership, insights, and data-driven analysis that industry professionals can leverage to navigate the evolving aftermarket landscape.
Registration for the event opened in July, and now organizers are releasing more information about the agenda and topics. They say this year’s program will highlight some of the most pressing industry topics and challenges, including:
- Parts forecasts for 2025 and beyond, delivering a comprehensive outlook on market trends and economic factors.
- In-depth analysis of key challenges shaping the heavy duty aftermarket.
- Macro-economic and market indicators, essential to understanding the industry's trajectory.
- Strategies for success in a global aftermarket landscape, offering perspectives from a major landmark study.
- Panels featuring industry leaders from fleet, distributor, dealer, and supplier companies.
- Government affairs discussions focused on policy shifts that will impact the industry
And the centerpiece of HDAD 2025 is the return of the highly anticipated Aftermarket Industry Economy & Outlook session, presented by MacKay & Company.

“McKay & Company is pleased to share our annual Aftermarket Outlook and Dr. Bob's insights into the economy,” says Molly MacKay Zacker , vice president of operations at MacKay & Company. “With looming economic uncertainty and the upcoming election, January will be a pivotal time for understanding how these forces and more, will shape the heavy-duty aftermarket industry.”
Attendees can also look forward to the return of the Commercial Vehicle “Talk from the Top”, one of last year’s most highly rated sessions. This session, presented by MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers, is a report-out of candid and anonymous discussions with aftermarket executives that will provide valuable, unfiltered insights and expectations for the future.
“I'm thrilled to be bringing back the second annual Commercial Vehicle ‘Talk from the Top’ report-out at HDAD 2025,” says Shannon O’Brien, senior director, Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket at MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers. “Last year’s debut received a lot of positive feedback, and I look forward to relaying more frank and uninhibited insights and perspectives covering a whole new set of topics.”
Finally, organizers add Aftermarket Dialogue will feature a refreshed agenda, balancing staple sessions with new and innovative content. Additional topics, speakers and panelists will be announced in the coming months. For more information, and to register, go to the event website.
