The Larson Group Peterbilt (TLG) announced its acquisition of Piedmont Peterbilt, a dealership in Greensboro, N.C., on Tuesday.
Similarly to TLG, Piedmont Peterbilt is a family-owned company operating since 1990. With this acquisition, TLG expands its total size to 23 locations in eight states. Greensboro location is TLG’s fourth store in North Carolina.
“With each Peterbilt location we gain, TLG is able to better serve customers with our industry-leading support and first-class service,” says Glenn Larson, TLG president and CEO. “Our Greensboro location will provide even more convenient access to our customers across the state as well as complement our other N.C. locations.”
Piedmont Peterbilt closed on Dec. 11, and reopened as TLG Peterbilt – Greensboro on Dec. 14, when TLG formally assumed ownership. TLG Peterbilt – Greensboro will be a full-service dealership, offering new and used Peterbilt trucks for sale, parts, service, and a body shop.
TLG first expanded into the Carolinas in 2015. TLG has dealership locations in Raleigh, Charlotte, and Dunn N.C. and dealership locations in Florence and Harleyville, S.C. TLG also has a TRP store location in North Charleston, S.C.
