CIMC Intermodal Equipment has made series of promotions to strengthen its domestic management and sales structure to accelerate growth in 2017.
President and CEO Frank Sonzala announced the following promotions as follows:
- Don Hu has been promoted to vice president and CFO. Hu joined CIMC in 2012 and previously held the position of controller.
- Maria Munoz was promoted from human resources manager to director of Human Resources and corporate events. Munoz has been with CIMC since 2012.
- Johnny Perez, who joined CIMC in 2012, has been promoted to purchasing manager.
- In the sales and field service area:
- John Garcia and Eddie Pulido have been named field service technicians
- Ernie Paniagua will now be responsible for west coast sales
- Alex Valadez had moved from his position as administrative assistant to company store sales in the LA metro region
“We have dynamic plans for CIMC Intermodal Equipment to grow sales substantially again in 2017,” says Sonzala. “The best way to meet our goals is to empower our employees to find areas for continuous improvement in processes and customer service. There are great people here willing to take on more responsibilities to support our vision for the future.”
